Branding Photography for West London Massage

Erica from West London Massage

I recently photographed Erica from West London Massage at my home studio in West London, creating a collection of relaxed, natural branding images alongside video clips for her business.

Erica was lovely to work with: warm, friendly and completely at ease in front of the camera. And, as you can probably tell from the images, the massage itself looked pretty dreamy!

Natural light, soft shadows and an authentic feel

For this shoot, we kept things really simple and photographed everything using natural light.

We were lucky enough to have a lovely bright but cloudy day, which gave us beautifully soft light and gentle shadows. It was perfect for creating the calm, natural and authentic feel we wanted for Erica’s brand.

I love working with natural light when it suits the space and the brand. That doesn’t mean I’m reliant on having the perfect weather, though. If we’d needed to, I could have recreated a very similar quality of light using artificial lighting.

For me, light is light. I simply use the best available to create the look and feel we’re after.

One thing I will almost always do where possible? Switch off those overhead orangey lights. They rarely do anyone any favours!

Branding photography for West London businesses

As a West London photographer, I work with businesses and individuals to create images that feel natural to their brand and, importantly, feel like them.

Whether you need a set of personal branding portraits, lifestyle images, product photography, food photography or a mixture of stills and video, we can create a shoot around the way you actually work.

For Erica, we wanted the images to feel calm, welcoming and professional, while also giving potential clients a sense of the person behind West London Massage.

We also captured some video clips during the shoot, which will be coming soon. Having both still photography and short-form video created during the same session can be a really useful way of building a bank of content for your website and social media.

If you’re looking for a West London photographer for your next branding shoot, I’d love to hear from you.

And if, like me, you’re a parent who has made it through the summer holidays feeling slightly frazzled, a massage from Erica sounds like a very good idea right now!
