London Sports Therapy Photography: 101 Images, Thousands of Uses and 27% Business Growth

In October 2024, I spent two days photographing Josie and the team at London Sports Therapy at The Hogarth Club in Chiswick, West London, creating a comprehensive library of 101 professional images.
Almost two years later, those images have been used thousands of times across the business, from the website and social media to printed marketing materials and online courses.
And according to Josie, the business has grown by 27% since the shoot.

Planning the shoot
Josie wanted a bank of professional images that would show not just her, but her team, their working environment and the way they work with clients.
Based at The Hogarth Club in Chiswick, the shoot needed to reflect the professional but approachable feel of London Sports Therapy, while giving Josie plenty of variety to use across her website, social media, marketing and online courses.
Josie had prepared really well for the shoot, bringing branded merchandise and uniforms for the team to wear. We also thought about the smaller details that would help reinforce the London Sports Therapy brand within the images, even little touches such as a branded tote bag hanging on the back of the clinic door.
These details might seem small, but they make a difference when you're creating a library of images that needs to feel consistent and recognisably part of the business.
We worked across two shoot days, giving us plenty of time to create a varied collection of images rather than trying to get everything done in a few hours.
A mix of portraits, people and places
The final shoot included a combination of natural light and portable studio lighting, giving us different looks and plenty of variety.

Using a mixture of locations, lighting and situations meant Josie wasn't left with 101 variations of the same portrait. Instead, we created images that showed the different sides of London Sports Therapy, from the team and their clinic work to assessment, treatment, strength training and outdoor exercise.

Josie originally selected a set number of images but, having seen the full gallery, chose to add additional images to her collection. In total, she ended up with 101 final images.
The images were supplied as both large and small JPEGs, making them ready to use for different purposes, from printed marketing materials and advertising banners to websites and social media.
This is where the shoot has really come into its own.
Since the shoot in October 2024, the images have been used across the London Sports Therapy website, Google Business Profile, Instagram and LinkedIn, as well as printed marketing materials including advertising banners and leaflets.
They've also been used in Josie's online course materials.
In fact, the images have now been put to use thousands of times.
The results
