Brand Photography in Hammersmith: A Second Shoot with Acacia Growth
This was my second shoot with Ed Renshaw at Acacia Growth. Ed is a leadership and executive coach, helping leaders navigate change, growth and the challenges that come with stepping into bigger roles.
Ed had recently refreshed the Acacia Growth brand, so it was time for some new photography to go alongside it and give him a fresh bank of images to use across his website, LinkedIn and wider marketing.
For this branding photography shoot, we headed to the shared workspace in Hammersmith where Ed often works. It was a great setting for a mix of personal branding portraits, lifestyle images and corporate headshots, with plenty of different backdrops to give Ed a varied set of photographs without needing to move between locations. We also managed to shoot Ed’s intro video while we had a quiet moment in the space. Timing it well meant we could get a clean, distraction-free recording without interrupting the flow of the shoot.
Ed is one of those people who is genuinely easy to photograph. Relaxed, personable and very good at what he does, which makes capturing natural, confident images that feel like him a lot easier. I always love working with clients for a second time. There’s a familiarity there that makes the shoot really easy, and it’s nice to be able to take what we did last time and try something a little different. There was, inevitably, plenty of chat about cricket (we’re both fans – what’s happened to me?!), and quite a bit about The Oval, where Ed has worked from now they have a ‘work from here’ scheme. Next shoot at The Oval?!
If you’re looking for branding photography, personal branding portraits or corporate headshots in Hammersmith or across West London, I’d love to hear about your next shoot.
